I’m Selina, nice to meet ya.
I come from the small town of New Hamburg in southwestern Ontario, Canada (specifically Punkeydoodles Corners - it’s real) and currently live in London, ON.
I have been interested in photography since I was about eleven years old, always jumping at the chance to take pictures with my family's Sony point-and-shoot digital camera (Ten megapixels was a lot back then).
I spent most of high school with a camera in my hands, and in grade 11, I won $200 for one of my photos in a contest, which I put towards buying my first DSLR. In 2014 I graduated from Fanshawe College’s Photography Program, and since then have been working as a freelance artist in my spare time.
My work is inspired by music I listen to, certain locations, nature, or emotions. I use self-portraiture often as a therapeutic tool to try to communicate feelings that I can’t put into words. I love being outside and going on adventures with my partner Derek, and our coonhound, Tele.
If you like my vibe, let’s work together. Contact for rates or prints.
